Week of November 29th......

Welcome back from break.  Hope you had the opportunity to visit with friends and family and also get such much needed rest.  This week we will be starting a new unit (Age of Exploration 1450-1750).  The balance of world power is starting to shift in favor of Western Europe and the localized trade routes we have been studying will be kicked up to a global scale.  At the end of the week, we will be writing our Merchant DBQ essay in class.  The packet for this essay was handed out last week.  Many picked up the packet before leaving for vacation, but if you need it I have extras in the classroom.  Those that scored "6" or less and wish to make-up the Roman DBQ can also do so this week.  I have placed a pass in your red folders for the testing center.  All make-ups must be completed by this Thursday 12/2.
